Everyone in mood for Vacation n Holiday in My Dept!

This is it. 
AirAsia Got Promotion. MAS got promotion.
ERP team sitting on the bench / hahhaha/ oppss! (this means no work) duduk atas bangku goyang kaki.
Every screen (their notebook) i go i see AirAsia, MAS, Qatar AirWay, KLM ..etc etc..
Wuah! 
Even Bos also..just come back from Sabah.
hmm.. Life is Good huh?
There are 9 on us only in the team.
My other 2 Chinese Girlfriend are going to Bangkok.
My other Chinese friend just comeback from Manila.
My other Indian boyfrend is going to US, On June, Long Island for his sister wedding. <<----this guy is really rich and famous. haha. I doubt what is his wedding would be like. Long Island jugak kah? That is a place for hollyword celebrity, having a house there means, you are really really rich.
My immediatte bos, just comeback from dono where. haha. he is on leave for a week. I think he goes places somewhere in Asia still.
My direct bos--just come back from Sabah. as i told u before. 
Our DBA, just comeback from India, bring in a lot of Indian Sweets.. yumm.
My Malay girlfriend went back hometown using KTM services, bring in his son to enjoy the journey back to Kedah.
Another girl will be travelling as single parent with one child and one infant. Hehe.. that is me.A Sabah trip.Not sure if another family trip going to happen. that one has to talk to our tabung.


All i heard this week is luggage story, booking story, flight story, hotel story. And this has been going for a month!! will continue month after that of course.Seriously, while i was writing this entry also they were chatting comparing MAS and Air Asia to destination like Australia, Chiang Mai la, Hanoi la..


A wedding ceremony is going to happen by Dec. I guess family is busy finding 'barang hantaran'. They were busy flying inside and outside Malaysia.


That Super Duper Lucky girl will be my sister in-law. She is about the same age. wuuhuu.. we gossiped that their honeymoon will be somewhere romantic places not in Malaysia. hehe. Imagine all the hantaran is all imported. hehhehe... I wish i had one tissot like that also. Made in Germany.


Kene kumpul duit byk byk dulu baru boleh nak beli Tissot tu. uish.. and Cartier??? dream dulu lah. (My bos bought a cartier for his wife--it cost him 15k) cannot imagine. 


Life is So Good............ a very good deal offered by airways kept the staff away from office. hahaha.

FAILED!!

It really hard to believe it.
But i know this would be the ending.

I take the exam at Iverson Associattes Centerpoint Bandar Utama.
Exam is at 10am i already reached there 8am.

I knew it because i prepared myself for one section only. while less effort in the other section.

It's a big exam,
I pass one section and fail the other.
It has altogether 103 questions to be answered given 150minutes to answer all questions.
One need to pass both section to pass the exam.

I believe i did not put enough effort.
I believe i did not have enough study material.
I believe that if i had done all the setting up and implement it to client site, i will have no problem.
I believe i am not ready yet but were forced since bos cannot wait any longer.
End up i failed. huhuhu.

My other half advised me to retake the exam.
Im tired.
Honestly really tired.
With house core, work and kids. and study.

Let's think positive.
Let's think that i will go back and study again.
Let's think that i will do more practice.
Let's assume though client not need the business function but i will do a practise in our test instance.
Let's think that.

Let's start executing it will ya?  Will ya please not just think?
Let's be a Specialist.
Will later take the Expert and become a Certified Professional.
Will you do that?
Will you do what it's takes to become one ?
This is not about a high pay salary but more toward your satisfaction thereof.
 
Well..depends on what you want in life.

Am I going to travel worldwide? Asian region? Europe countries? US? New Zealand Australia?

They have 60 sites worldwide. And an analyst need to travel.

I have not state my utmost concerned yet,

When Walid continued his Master studies,

When Walid has to go outstation again.

When I'll be leaving country for couple of weeks

When I have to work accordingly to the timezone

What will happen to the kids,


Can I achieve life and work balance?

Can the family survive ?

Are we (both Walid and I ) ready to sacrifice ?

Agree to this position means commit to travel 30% internationally.

What are you looking in life? What do you want? ~apa yang dikejar di dalam hidupmu~
I wanted the exposure and wanted to grow myself.
I wanted to be near to the person and family whom i love,that i cherish every moment when we are together.


I doubt myself that i'm ready..but Walid seems to have confidence in me.

I love him so much i'm afraid to leave him and the kids.

While the rest urge me to take the offer. Chances doesn't come often.

Being in this field itself means travel. but currently I commit myself to travel within Klang Valley only and bos agree to that.

And that is y my name is not listed during 2 yrs project in  Penang recently.

And also to Johor project, I stand strong to my decision not to travel since i bf my baby.

I cut a lot of offer for not willing to travel reason.

Even at the moment also, Walid will try to go on outstation during weekend only, trying to avoid weekdays.

And now..to the chances that rarely come in life..

They are still interviewing other candidates as well but at least im shorlisted to 3rd interview which is the final intervew means chances of getting hired is high.

Just perform and later on think.
Allah know what is the best for me and for the whole family.

I've seen a friend who work in HP, she also travel to US often and she has 4 kids.. really strong and tough woman. I adore her in silence.
I've seen a friend who is now working in WHO, a mother to 3 kids.. looking forward to a place in Dubai to migrate..and bring family with her also.. and i also adore her in silence. She is my idol. She is very clever to land in a job that require less travelling but the money is goooood..she even can work from home.

I am not workaholic and I am just like other ordinary working mother.trying to achieve balance in everything.I felt balance to my life right now to the current job that im working just sometimes i cannot avoid the stress.

I've been considering working at home instead/ or working from home but Walid does not agree to that decision. he said.. Its not the time yet.

To this fisrt flagship implementation has completed (australia,south africa, se asia). Next flagship is Europe.

Did Germany in the list ? haha..Kak Arifah.. We (Walid,Ummi,Aqilah,Muadz) will come and visit you and family. InsyaAllah. If Allah will and if only I take the offer.

Merely personal tought.

A lot of things happen when Ummi make a comeback to work. Obviously need to triple up the effort. Yes indeed try to triple up the effort but unknown what are the things that holds Ummi back.

For example in the event of :

When a things needs to be done it needs to be done! When things are crucial - 'Ummi sakit pulak-semua pun sebab side effect 1 bulan pertama pakai IUCD' - But..who are there to help? takde! None! Y? Because Ummi is ALONE! doing a project at client side. Sickening! and Dont want to take MC jugak. Jadi atas dasar bertanggungjawab..kuteruskan jua walau sudah tahu kesudahannya.......

Very important things that Ummi learnt :

1. Always know what you are suppose to do and not suppose to do. (Wait! Am i suppose to do this? hahahha)
2. Always know your scope of work.
3. Users/Customer will always wanted consultant to do more and more for them as and this is NONBILABLE! Impact is.. Things that we do free for them they never ask but keep asking things that we havent do for them which is BILLABLE. Waste of time saje buat kerja yang tak patut buat.
4. Everything must be in BLACK or WHITE!

Impact If Did Not do proper Sign-Off in time

I have always face this issue when i want to get users to sign -off their document. They refuse to sign-off especially for unforseen businees process and uncertain on their process. Thus they unable to decide. In this case, i will talk and take only current fact which is certain and i know what is the impact. on unforseen and cannot do decision. The meeting will last for the wole day -sickening and end result is unknown. no decision.  For this. force to sign off. Without sign-off unable to start next stage of the implementation since no firm requirement. full stop. Time is in essence. Mandays n charges is there. consultant effort is there.

 

As second case. Which i learnt recently, dnt simply take so-called 2-3 days job as so called easy job by some people which tey also did not have full requirement. even have the requirement also it might be wrong. I've been cheated few times and thhey have played me around. i feel stupid for unable to get the requirement right and regret for boses who agreed to the requirement. It is very unfair and im blank.

 

I did not know which solutions to use thus keep doing RnD. in facet, boses also dnt know and rely totally from the information given ,no one as done this job before and no one to refer to. even the senior consultant also said nothing. Good Luck. What a difficult situation when there is no morale support. rely on urself. and what a lack of management skills i have. better arrange everyting next time. give urself time. cannot means cannot and dnt try to push again. too much of stress i break down and cry many times. personal and work related.

 

This is taking too long. They finally sign-off but there is another problem after that. Which is i also concern though its not under my pocket anymore.

 

 

I hate this. im thinking to leave consultant job. leaving 4k going 5k salary behind-. Just being normal. Just stay at home and play with my children. and maybe do some SOHO or WAHM.

 

When is the time. still dnt know.

 

oh. im pregnant  second child. seriously thinking to move to another job.

 

Workplace

Don't be jealous, at my workplace i got this, this and this. sebab kene campak dekat corporate level.. best jugak. everyday got people make u coffee n tea served warm. hehehe. but if u got unlucky, fuh..kene campak dekat bilik yg macam dekat store tuh. Nasib baik belum pernah lagi, but my friend stories...fuh..scary man.. nasibla. as long as there is a notebook, place to sit and internet connection consultant can do their work already.

My dearest friend last day at work

I was in this company for quite some time -like almost 3 yrs. consider loyal lah tu.. pasal ape.. normally in IT line, cannot tahan la 2++ mesti nak cabut. Especially in consulting line. fuh. i see people come and go in my dept. when project so tight so stresses, where the rest,. cabut. and in between of course maintain the resource. I always see new faces.

From one project to another project. from 20 pioneer /consultant of the first project left only 4 remain, and..today i felt so sad..since one of my close 'kakak' is her last day today.we've been through a lot.. we sama2 get married to the person we love differ month saje, deliver to a baby boy, she deliver to a baby girl and we've been sharing stories happy n sad and obstacle through.

We had a special luncheon at mizu Bangsar Village. Really a cozy environment and a lunch to remember. .
